Who we are
MEC Springs Ltd. was established in 1979 by Don Curry. Irish-owned and now run by father and son, our production and design facility is located in Ballymount Industrial Estate, Walkinstown, Dublin 12. MEC supplies high quality springs, wire shapes, and strip material products to a vast array of sectors requiring precision engineering, both public and private sector, from medical to agricultural.
Our Facility
Within our 6,000 sq ft production facility we have the machinery and team to fully meet any and all production requirements. Our production team on the ground have over 100 years of C&C spring making experience between them.
Furthermore we have an in-house design lab where we can create the perfect spring for you, bringing it from concept stage to full production. Our design experts are all IST certified so our customers can have peace of mind regarding product safety and quality. Having designed countless springs for a vast array of industries over many years, we have accrued invaluable knowledge which leaves us best placed to offer safe and reliable advice for any and all projects

At MEC, we design and produce springs and wire shapes in many grades of material, including but not limited to, stainless steel, galvanised, and plain carbon spring steel.
